전주대사습놀이의 활성화 방안 연구 : ｢전주대사습뎐｣을 중심으로＋
전주대사습놀이 전국대회는 조선시대 후기의 ‘전주 통인청’에서 연원을 찾을 수 있는 300여 년의 역사가 담긴 경연대회이다. 이러한 유구한 역사와 전통이 담긴 대회임에도 불구하고 그동안 이에 관한 연구는 체계적이고 다변화되어 이루어지지 못하였다. 이에 본 연구는 전주대사습놀이 보존회의 기획공연 중 ｢전주대사습뎐｣을 대상으로 사례분석 연구를 진행하였다. ｢전주대사습뎐｣의 실적보고서를 토대로 본 공연의 문제점을 인지하 고 활성화 방안을 도출하였는데 그 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 4년간 공연 중 중복 출연자 비율이 50% 이상을 차지하기에 신진 장원 수상자 등의 참여 기회를 확대하여야 한다. 둘째, 단편적인 홍보활동이 대다수이므로 전략적인 홍보마케팅 및 고객관리가 필요하다. 셋째, 4년간의 공연 내용이 비슷한 형식으로 진행되었으므로 공연 내용의 개선 및 공연 횟수의 확충이 요구된다. 본 연구는 개별적인 사례의 연구이므로 이를 일반화하기에 한계가 있으나 향후 전주대사습놀이 전국대회의 발전 및 활성화에 도움을 줄 수 있다는 점에서 연구의 의의가 있다.
A Study on the Revitalization of Jeonju Daesaseumnori : Focusing on “Jeonju Daesaseup Dyeon”＋
The Jeonju Daesaseumnori National Competition has a history of more than 300 years that originated from ‘Jeonju Tongincheong,’a contest established during the late Joseon dynasty. Despite the competition’s long history and tradition, it remains under-researched. Therefore, this study analyzes “Jeonju Daesaseup Dyeon”, one of the planned performances of the Jeonju Daesaseumnori Preservation Association. Based on the performance report of “Jeonju Daesaseup Dyeon,” the problems with this performance were identified and a revitalization plan was developed as follows. First, since the proportion of duplicate performers during the four-year performance accounts for more than 50%, opportunities for new winners to participate should be expanded. Second, since there are many fragmentary promotional activities, strategic promotional marketing and customer management are required. Third, since the similar performance content and format were repeated, improvements in the content of performance are necessary. It is difficult to generalize our recommendations based on only one case study. However, this study is important in that it offers insights on how to develop and revitalize the Jeonju Daesaseumnori Competition.
